A Nice and Slightly Above Freezing Day at the Park

Spring fever set in during our balmy 49 degree F day on Tuesday. What would a good mom do during such a balmy day? Go to the park, of course. Although the slides had slush puddles at the bottoms and the bouncy bridge was too cold to bounce, Kefelen was all smiles as he explored the jungle gym. He was cautious at first, never having been on such a thing. But after I strained my back climbing through the tunnels and nearly fell on my bottom while sliding down the metal pole, he laughed and warmed up to the idea.
