Not much to report. All is going well so far. Here's a gratuitous bath time photo for all of you needing an "aw" moment.
Within the next year we will travel to Ethiopia to bring our child home. We are so glad to have you join us as we embark on this life-changing journey. We plan to use this blog to provide regular updates to everyone during the long adoption process. We appreciate the support of all of our family and friends. Love, Mitch and Jennifer

ORIGINALLY POSTED ON 11/21/07. We are thrilled to announce that we have accepted a referral for a beautiful little 3 year old boy named Kefelen. We are already in love with his eyes and wish we could be there today to comfort him in his obvious sadness. Although we know that the children are not supposed to smile in their clinical referral photos, it is still difficult to see what appears to be pain in his face. We can't wait to see some happy photos when we bring him home in a few months. I must say, he's probably the cutest kid we've ever seen (we are already experiencing the bias of parents).
